NerdBurger: Cook-Off! Saturday July 24th, Manhattan, 5:30-10:30pm!!!

[RSVPs at 4/5ths capacity!]
[RSVPs will close on Wednesday, 21st at 6pm]

Come and celebrate NerdBurger's first Birthday Patty! That's right, little NB is one year old. In honor of this momentous occasion, please join us in Manhattan for an evening of competitive burgers and contentious games on Saturday, July 24th, 5:30-10:30pm! We will have a private indoor/outdoor location near Columbus Circle.

Saturday, July 24th and the heat is ON. Two teams will go head-to-head in an all-edible deathmatch: Battle Ice Princess vs. Mr. & Mrs. Elricz!! Please come ready to eat and judge two specially prepared burger samplings designed to tickle your tummy and tantalize your taste buds! There will be carnage on your plate and before your very eyes!! Two patties enter; only one can win!!!

Nerdburger began as burgers and outdoor gaming—and for the first anniversary we’re going back to our roots. Our kind benefactors, Elricz and Mrs. Elricz have arranged for us to use their building's swanky, private outdoor/indoor terrace for dining and gaming. Board Games, Card Games, what have you! We will have some games on hand but please bring any additional games you'd like to play.

The venue has an attendee cap of 50 people, if we reach the magic number we will close RSVPs — so, RSVP early!

Here’s what you have to do:

1. If you can attend, please send an RSVP with your name and board name to: Ice Princess. You may bring one guest if you’d like—please let us know this in your email as well.

2. Your burger is on us. But we are asking each member to contribute at least one of the following: dishes, drinks or donations.

If you're coming and need ideas of what to bring, please consider any of the following:

(in order of importance - continually updated)
beer
green salad
brownies/sheet cake
pasta salad
cola
pie
appetizer (humus; crudites + dip; etc.)

PM Ice Princess for further discussion.

Dishes: Please contact Ice Princess by July 15th to make arrangements about helping with the feast.
Drinks: We ask if you bring beverages that you bring enough bottles or cans for at least yourself and two others.
Donations: Can't cook? No time? Please consider making a small cash donation towards the rental of the party room.

3. Please tell us in your RSVP what form your contribution will take.

We look forward to seeing you all again on the 24th!! And if you have any questions or concerns, please pm Ice Princess for quick clarification.

Cook-off. Chomp down. Drink up. Game on. NerdBurger, where the elite meat to eat!

The 4th was just a test run for the Mutha o' All BBQs!

It needs to be that time now! Why is it not now yet?

I'm late to the party (/pun), but count me in! I'll bring some snooty-patooty beer, requests welcome.
