Jenskot Edit: Unfortunately this game has been canceled...

Forum Name:Newman
Game system:Swords and Wizardry
Minimum and maximum players:3-6
elevator pitch:
Tomb of the Iron God is an introductory adventure for Swords & Wizardry. The Monastery of the Iron God has been destroyed by divine wrath, and its treasure-laden catacombs are ripe for the picking by an enterprising young group of adventurers such as yourselves ...(we wouldnt be able to finish this in one session so it will be made shorter, or i also have a bunch of quick 40 min 1 shots such classics as "Attack of the Mushroom Men and "The Hunted")
Rating:anyone
Mood: Serious, but i cant help making jokes so... maybe it should be silly
Slot:2nd

1. Your Forum name: bpm123
2. Game system: Trail of Cthulhu
3. Minimum and maximum players: 3-6
4. A descriptive paragraph about the game (your elevator pitch): While Trail is a new RPG, this will be a very classic Lovecraftian session, set in the 1930s with pulpy characters and absolutely no hope of defeating the Elder Gods... but you may just survive. Expect to play classic Lovecraft characters- no soldiers, no cops. If you're ready to take on a shoggoth as a librarian, this is for you.
5. Rating: anyone
6. Mood: Dark, Vintage
7. Slot: 1

The League of Excellent Adventurers

1. Your Forum name: Moriarty
2. Game system: Spirit of the Century
3. Minimum and maximum players (4 is the default minimum not including yourself): 5-6
4. A descriptive paragraph about the game (your elevator pitch): Think League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, '80s style. Your favorite heroes of the decade (picked from film or tv) join forces for a most excellent adventure... with just a dash of old-timey pulp thrown in!
5. Rating: "anyone", "18+", or "mature": Anyone.
6. Mood: "serious", "silly", or "dark": Somewhat silly, totally awesome.
7. Slot: "1st (12-4pm)", "2nd (6:30-10:30pm)", or "Any": Any.

1. Your Forum name: urbwar

2. Game system: BASH (Basic Action Super Heroes)

3. Minimum and maximum players (4 is the default minimum not including yourself): 4-6

4. A descriptive paragraph about the game (your elevator pitch):
The United States is at war, and the Freedom Society is protecting the home front while our boys take it to the Nazis and Japs. Now the Crime Guild is causing trouble, and there are rumors the Fifth Column is planning to sabotage munition plants. Can our heroes keep the homeland safe?

(Note: While this is a golden age supers adventure, it's inspired by the 80's comic book All Star Squadron, so it somewhat fits the theme of Recess )

5. Rating: "anyone", "18+", or "mature" - Anyone

6. Mood: "serious", "silly", or "dark"- Serious, likely with some silly thrown in (this is the Golden Age, after all)

7. Slot: "1st (12-4pm)", "2nd (6:30-10:30pm)", or "Any"- Any

1. Forum name: ogreteeth
2. Game System: HERO System
3. Players: 4-6
4. All of the Princesses in the land have gathered for this month’s inter-dimensional tea party. But something lurks at the back of their minds. The various heroes of the respective Kingdoms have not been heard from in some time... At first you generally figured that they had just gone to the wrong castle again, but usually there's at least some sign of unrest in the local villainy when that happens. Heroes get lost, and villains get grouchy when they come invade -- Men...never asking for directions. Humph. But there is time enough for affairs of state later. For now, Tea!
5. Rating: Anyone
6. Mood: Silly
7. Slot: Any

1. Your Forum name: James

2. Game system: Mouse Guard: Kenzie and Saxon's Rescue Rangers

3. Minimum and maximum players (4 is the default minimum not including yourself): Min: GM +2; Max: GM +4

4. A descriptive paragraph about the game (your elevator pitch):
Remember in the 80's all those animated things involving rodents? The Secret of NIMH, The Recuers, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers? Let's throw all that stuff in a blender with swords, castles, bloodthirsty Owls and Weasels, and see what you're really made of. When the Territories are in trouble, there's only one group who can save the day - the Mouse Guard!

Choose this game if you like Mouse Guard, or like animated adventure stories that (for inexplicable reasons) involve heroic little mice struggling against an immensely hostile world.

5. Rating: PG (game mechanics are probably PG-13 in complexity)

6. Mood: Serious (surprisingly so)

7. Slot: 1st, because I want to play in Littleidiot's or Newman's games in the second slot!

1) Forum Name: Seraph

2) Game System: Mage the Ascension (Not Mage the Awakening. This is old-school WoD)

3) Players: 3-7

4) Description: You are a small cabal of Orphan mages, wandering the country in your mobile Chantry, helping ordinary people who are troubled by the supernatural. You are assisted in this endeavor by a ronin Garou who has befriended one of the members of your group...too bad that he's a ronin because he was thrown out of the Bone Gnawers for cowardice. At least his Tass dog biscuits are useful. (Why yes, I did like that idea about the Scooby Gang facing Lovecraftian horrors).

5) Rating: Mature

6) Straight-faced take on a silly idea

7) Any

PS - Yes, the Scooby Gang itself is only 5 characters. If I get more players than that, someone can play Scrappy or a celebrity guest star.

1. Your Forum name: Warboss_Waaazag
2. Game system: Twilight 2013
3. Minimum and maximum players: 4-6
4. A descriptive paragraph about the game (your elevator pitch): The war changed everything. The whole world is in ruins. What's left of Europe is overrun by warlords and mercenaries. We're all guilty and if civilization ever re-asserted itself, there'd be hell to pay. Now with food, currency, and ammunition low, you've a chance to do something right, maybe even make amends for the things you've done, if that's possible. But what starts as a simple rescue mission quickly turns complicated when bio-weapons, radiation clouds, and ambiguous loyalties threaten to overshadow the heroic deeds of our chosen few. Where will you stand? On the side of righteousness or in the pocket of the Warlord of Koprivnica?
5. Rating: Mature (if you think this means "old" you're not mature enough)
6. Mood: serious
7. Slot: I would prefer later, but anytime, really
